History
Stabby Gård (Gård means farm in English) has
a long history, going back to the Stone Age. The farm is owned
by Uppsala University, given by a donation in the beginning
of the 19th century. The Gauffin family has run the farm since
1923. Göran, the third generation of Gauffins, and his
wife Elisabeth have been running the farm since 1986 together
with their four children and staff.
Location
Stabby Gård is beautifully situated in the Uppsala
Näs valley; in the middle of the nature reserve Hågadalen-Nåsten
The area is a famous recreation area for the citizens of Uppsala.
It is only 9 kilometres from the centre of Uppsala, and an
hour’s drive from Stockholm. The nearest airport is
Arlanda International, 42 kilometres away.

Activities
The farm includes approximately 280 hectares of arable land
and 140 hectares of grassland. The dairy production, the sheep and
the crops cultivated for the animals make it a living and interesting farm, with lots
of activities all year around. Since 2006, all production is organic and certified by KRAV, www.krav.se
Lately, some other activities have been added to the enterprise
such as horseback riding, trail riding, “rent a horse”,
various other events including farm activities like milking,
cattle work, sheep dog training, herding sheep and cattle.
There are also lots of other exciting activities such as for
example clay pigeon shooting and moose safaris.

A lovely cottage situated in a small isolated village, Olingdal,
in the middle of nowhere. A perfect holiday resort for families,
ski enthusiasts and people interested in nature in general.
The area offers great opportunities for natural experiences,
